The Winchester Economic Development Corporation (WEDC)
is a not-for-profit organization founded in 2010 by a group of its citizens who recognize the need for an active effort to revitalize the town of Winchester by fostering to improve the standard of living and attracting and supporting new and thriving businesses.

The WEDC is a registered 501(c) (3) non-profit with the chief goal being to improve the standard of living by bringing in new and thriving businesses.
